When you build an automation system, one of the first tasks is to draw an overview of the system. This overview includes the physical areas where the controllers are located, as well as drawings of the chassis with it’s modules and networks. You often use AutoCAD or Visio to create these drawings. It would be valuable if you could use these system overview files as more than just drawings. RSLogix Architect can be used to create these system overview layouts, along with other useful functions for the integrated Architecture.
